Marshall has been active in starting, managing and governing coops since 1970. He has served on the board of La Montanita Food Coop for over twenty years and was president during its first two expansion projects. During the past six years of service, he focused on improving board process and performance by creating an infrastructure of support systems and by moving the board into Policy Governance.
Marshall’s work as a mediator has given him a solid grounding in group process and constructive decision making.
